English as a Second Language
Every semester, Rose State College offers free English as a Second Language (ESL) / Adult Literacy workshops, classes, and tutoring.
In addition to Rose State College students, we also welcome any other members of the greater Oklahoma City community who simply wish to improve their English language, writing, or literacy skills. This includes high school students preparing for future college admission and all individuals who believe they who could better flourish in their careers or personal lives with stronger skills.
On the first day of attendance, a Rose State professor meets one-on-one with each learner to develop a self-paced, individualized plan of study based on the learner’s goals. No matter what the current skill level may be, our expert team works to help each person progress at their own pace to reach their potential and successfully achieve their academic, personal, or professional aspirations.
